Remember to use this pyramid as a guide...the serving sizes are not as important as the proportionality of where your food sources should come from. In other words, the closer to the base is where the majority of your food choices should be made. On the contrary, the least amount should come from the top.
Note that the proportions are based on servings, and not on calories.
